Barbara has had a love for the arts since her childhood. Advertising, design, and illustration were the focus of Barbara’s early career. But Young soon left the commercial arena to pursue her dream of creating original works of art and raising her family of five children. She now enjoys being “Nana” to 9 grandchildren. Her desire to create and articulate those things found in her imagination have been brought to life using acrylics on a canvas of wood. Barbara’s selection and usage of color are part of her known style. She creates with an inner message to share. It has been said, “her works make you smile”.
